Here is the steps to identify the duplicate values in excel:
Step 1. Open excel tab on which you want to highlight the duplicate

Step 2. Click on Home in the menu bar & select conditional formatting and then Highlight Cells Rules then select Duplicate Values.

Step 3.The pop up will open and here you can select how you would like to highlight duplicate values in your excel. E.g With Red color.

Step 4. Click om OK.
Step 5. This will now show you all the duplicate values in the format you selected.
How to Remove duplicates in excel:
Now since you have identified the duplicate values, you can now easily review and remove the duplicates. Here is how to do remove duplicates in excel
Step 1. Select the range or cell in your excel from which you want to remove the duplicates.
Step 2. Go to Data in menu bar & select Remove duplicates. This will show you pop up for remove duplicates.

Step 3. You can now check or uncheck the column for duplicate removal.

Step 5. This will now remove all the duplicates from your selected excel columns.
Remember you take copy of original content into another file or tab, as once you remove the duplicate you cant retrieve it back.
