Why you should change your password frequently?
1. To Prevent constant access to your account - If by any means someone knows your password, they will have constant access to your account
2.You are not only controlling your password - There might be chances that the hacker has cracked your password & they are using it
3.If you saved your password on your device & someone has access your device, then they can very much know your password.
So it is very much essential for you to keep changing your password at least every 90 days.
I will tell you the simplest method to change your Gmail password. Gmail and other google products uses SSO( single sign on) method. This means, all your gmail, google photos, drive etc will open using same password. So if you want to change the Gmail password, it will change the password of entire Google apps you are using.
Change Gmail or Google password from your android phone -
Step 1. Go to settings
Step 2. Select Google
Step 3. Select manage your account
Step 4. Select security tab from the top menu
Step 5. Under signing in to Google, you will see the password & the date when it was changed last time.Click on it
Step 6. Enter your current password
Step 7. Now enter the password you want to change to. Make sure you remember it well!!
Step 8. Click on OK. This will change your Gmail or Google password.

Step 1. Go to https://myaccount.google.com

What password you should keep:
1. Your password should be complex.
2. It should at least 8 character long , and mix of upper case, lower case, number & special character
3. It shouldn't be your previous or old password
4. It should not contain words from your name or your identity.
