Like any other android phone, taking screenshot on Samsung Galaxy S7 has to follow the usual method. But as it is Samsung device you will have one more added method to screenshot on Galaxy S7.
Method 1. The usual method
1. Open window or screen of which you want to take screenshot
2. Press & hold power button & home button simultaneously.
3. You will hear shutter sound
4. Release both the buttons.
5. Your screenshot is ready!! You can find that by scrolling to notification bar
Method 2. The Galaxy way
1. For this method you have to ensure the gesture mode is enabled by going into settings > Motions & gestures.
2. Make sure the Palm swipe to capture is enabled. If not then enable it.

3. Now, open the screen or window of which you want to take screenshot
4. Now using edge of your palm, swipe on the screen from right to left.
5. That's it!! This will make the shutter sound, which means your screenshot is captured.
6. You can find the screenshot in the notification bar.
What if you want to take extended screenshot of your screen or app or any webpage?
Don't worry, you can do that easily with following steps.
1. Capture the screenshot by any above method.
2. You will find the option will pop up - Capture More
3. Click on it.
4. This will start scrolling down your screen.
5. You can stop anytime by tapping on screen.
6. Once you tap on screen, it will stop the capture.
7. Your entire screen capture will be available on the notification bar.
