How To Stop Overthinking
Thinking is good for your growth but what if your mind is crowded with number of thoughts & that loops in circle? This happens when you start thinking too much about every little thing. This results in adverse effect of your overall health & efficiency and leads to depression. So it is essential that you learn technique to control your thoughts from unnecessary flooding. So lets begin with step by step process on how to stop overthinking.
1. See the wider picture
Most of the times we think about things that is momentary and hence you need to look at the bigger picture of it. You need to ask yourself - Does this thing really going to matter you after year or two? The response of this question will surely let you see the bigger picture of the thing that your are worried of.
If something is not going to matter after year or two then definitely this is not something you need to worry about. But if it does, then surely you need to work on it
2. Be positive
When you start thinking negatively on every aspect or moments in your life it gives birth to huge number of useless, uncontrollable & endless thoughts. This cycle repeats with every situation you see negatively & this accumulates thoughts in your mind with no whatsoever conclusion out of it.
So try to be positive in every situation & this will remove more than half of your thoughts. Trust me,, it works!!
3. Believe in Action
The end result of thought is generally an action. A thought without action is as useless as your thought itself. You need to focus on acting on things that really matters. Unless you action on it, your thoughts won't get full stop. If you keep on thinking and there is no action then your thought will go circle & eventually you will loose self-confidence as well. So, it is very much essential you act before jumping into another endless thought process.
4. Accept the reality
You need to stop being perfect, there is no one on earth is perfect. You also need to understand that you can not control everything on earth. The thing that mean to fail will fail no matter what effort your put to control it. The fear in your mind will build up the excessive stress on your mind and you will end up with nothing but the sadness.
Instead of wasting your time on something which you can not control think and act on things which is in your control & matters to you most.
5. Exercise
It might sound unrelated but trust me exercise will help to relieve your stress & help you to focus on things positively.
6. Sleep
The sleep deprivation & overthinking are inter-related. The more you think, the less you sleep & the less you sleep , the less efficient you become. The lack of efficiency will make you depressed and this will invite more such useless thoughts to build.

7. Spend time with your beloved ones
This is the best therapy on preventing you from begin overthinking. You need to spend time with your family, friends and with the people that are close to your heart. This will not only help you being lively but also help help your relationship bonding to get stronger.
8. Ask for help
If none of the technique help you get rid of overthinking, then you need to discuss with your friends. Discussing your problems with your beloved ones really help you to get rid of the endless thoughts.
